Replacing the UV lamp is a quick and easy process that does not require any special skills or tools. To replace the lamp, follow these steps: 1. Disconnect the UV system from power and let it cool down for a few minutes. 2. Turn off the water supply and drain the water from the system before removing the lamp. 3. Wear gloves to prevent contamination of the lamp surface. 4. Slowly pull the lamp cord away from the chamber and carefully disconnect the lamp from the cord. Avoid touching the glass part of the lamp. 5. Remove the lamp from the chamber, being careful not to angle it, as it can damage the quartz sleeve if it touches it. 6. Slide the UV Lamp inside the Quartz Sleeve and attach the Ballast to the UV Lamp. 7. Slide the assembly into the Stainless Steel Reactor Chamber and cover the end with the cover to secure the lamp.

The lamp can be mounted vertically or horizontally, but for the first-time installation, it is recommended to install the quartz sleeve in the horizontal position for better sealing purposes. The incoming water should flow from the bottom of the housing, moving upward if the lamp is installed vertically.
