It is often the first filter installed in a Reverse Osmosis circuit, acting as a net to catch unwanted particles. The filter is made of fine melted polypropylene, which is resistant to chemical solvents, bases, and acids.

The main difference between a Grooved Sediment Filter and a regular Sediment Filter is the surface area; the Grooved Sediment has a larger surface area, contributing to a longer life span and better filtration. These filters intercept various impurities, including rust, corrosion, coarse sand, fine sand, particles, sediment, and dirt.

These universal sediment filters are 2.5 x 10-inch and fit most standard under-sink Reverse Osmosis water filtration units or any type of water filtration units with standard 10-inch housing.
