Ronaqua's pleated sediment water filters reduce sand, dirt, silt, rust, and scale particles in residential and commercial water. The pleated design provides an amplified surface area that may extend the filter's life while removing undesirable particles and chemicals from the water. These filters are made of resin-impregnated cellulose and polyester media pleated around a polypropylene core, which traps suspended particles and adsorbs unwanted chemicals or substances.

A significant advantage of pleated filters is that they protect against a lower pressure drop and allow increased water flow rates. Overall, pleated cartridges outperform standard wound, spun, and melt blown filters due to their reusability. The Ronaqua pleated sediment water filters have a flow rate of five gallons per minute (GPM).

What is a Pleated Sediment Filter? The Pleated Sediment Filter is similar to a regular sediment filter, but it has a longer lifespan due to the increased surface area and material composition. It is able to filter out physical impurities such as dirt, silt, sand, and sediment, and can be wiped down and cleaned to continue using it.
