To ensure optimal performance, it is essential to maintain the system properly. The UV lamp should be replaced annually (or biennially for seasonal use), and the quartz sleeve should be cleaned every 6-12 months, with a replacement every 2 years. The electronic ballast acts as a controller, providing visual and auditory indicators to alert users of any system failures.
