The Sawyer MINI Water Filter is a lightweight, versatile personal filtration system that fits in the palm of your hand and weighs just 2 ounces. It is perfect for a wide range of outdoor activities, from camping with the kids to traveling abroad where tap and bottle water cannot be trusted. The tiny MINI provides 0.1 micron absolute filtration, filtering out bacteria, protozoa, and microplastics to ensure clean drinking water on the go.

The MINI filter removes 7 log (99.99999%) of all bacteria, including Salmonella, Cholera, and E. coli, as well as other harmful bacteria that cause Leptospirosis. It also removes 6 log (99.9999%) of all protozoa, such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium, according to independent testing by Hydration, LLC. These removal rates equal or exceed other filter options, and the EPA guidelines allow ten times more protozoa left in the water than the Sawyer MINI filters allow. The MINI also filters out 100% of microplastics.

The 0.1 micron absolute filter in the MINI houses a cluster of micro-fibrous tubes that use similar technology to that found in medical dialysis. As water passes through the side walls of the tubes, harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped on the outer walls, ensuring the water is safe to drink.

The Sawyer MINI offers a variety of ways to access clean water. It can be attached to the included drinking pouch, used with the included straw to drink directly from the water source, connected to hydration pack tubing (sold separately), or screwed onto standard disposable bottles (28mm thread).
