These sediment filters are often the initial stage in a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, acting as a net to catch sand, dirt, rust, and other fine particles. Made of melt-blown polypropylene, they are resistant to chemicals, bases, and acids. Removing these particles allows downstream filters like Carbon Block or Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) to perform better and last longer.
