This design allows for better dirt holding capacity, higher filtration accuracy, and extended life compared to standard melt-blown sediment cartridges, with up to 30% longer service life. The main function of a sediment filter is to remove large and fine particles from drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust, enabling better performance of subsequent filters like Carbon Block or GAC.
